"I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified." I Corinthians 9:27 (NLT)
"What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offering and sacrifices or our obedience to His voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice and submission is better than offering the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 14:22
Saya suka gaya blog Wendy Pope. Dia selalu membagi tulisannya dalam 3 bagian. Something Odd, Something New dan Something To Do. Praktis ya? hehehe...
Something to Do:
Stop giving God excuses and just obey Him, eliminate the obedience clause.
Matthew Henry
"Repentance is not a change of mind, it is a change of method.
"It is much easier to bring a bullock or lamb to burned upon the altar than to bring every high thought into obedience to God t0 make our will subject to His will."
Doa mereka juga menjadi doa saya, since today
Dear Lord, I know that doing the right thing is not usually the easy thing. Help me to follow Your ways and not my own. Help me to commit to the changes I know I need to make in my life. And let me feel You guiding and encouraging me every step of the way. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
